My name is Beth and I really love to read, cook, bake, (and eat just about anything!), I also really enjoy following the current election! As a Junior, I'm really
looking forward to taking advantage of the enmormous amounts of clubs that go on around campus, especially all the new Chabad
events!
What I love most about coming to Chabad is of course the delicious challah, but also getting to meet all the Jewish kids on campus in one very nice, convenient, friendly spot.

Hello! I'm Debbie I am a Senior and a health and society major. I am on the varsity tennis team here at Rochester and
I also really like to waterski.
I enjoy the
laidback atmosphere at Chabad House and the friendly faces.
I also absolutely love Devorah Leah's strawberry salad. And Mendel and Moussia are so much fun to be around. Try it out I promise you'll love it too!

Hi internet, how’re things?! My name’s Ethan, I’m a Junior, and a triple major in Religion, International Relations, and loving life. I’m involved in a whole lot on campus, but some of my favorites are multicultural activities, giving tours as a tour guide, being outside with friends, and taking Talmud classes with Rabbi Asher. My favorite thing about Chabad is how easy it is to have so much fun while learning about Judaism with other Jews and eating delicious food while feeling so at home, all at the same time. There are even impromptu birthday surprises! Trust me…it’s impossible to not love Chabad!

Hi! I'm Gracie, and I'm a sophmore studying Spanish and religion. I
spend my time at the U of R singing with Vocal Point, visiting the
nursing home with Sababa, wasting time in Starbucks and, of course,
spending Shabbat at Chabad! Of course I love the food, but I also have
lot of fun talking to Mendel about dinosaurs and other fun things.

Shalom, Shalom!
My name is Jake, I am a Libra and love long moonlit walks along the beach at sunset and I am a proud member of the class of 2009.
I started to go to Chabad for the chicken soup and stayed for...the chicken soup --plus I guess the people are alright. On campus I divert my self with URTV and half a dozen other student organizations, but my deepest passions are deep-sea fly fishing, and bouncy castles.

Hey, I'm Leana, I really love watching plays at NTID (part of RIT) with my fellow ASL club members, goofing around on URTV and tap dancing whenever I have the time! I also work as an assistant props master at Todd theater.
I LOVE coming to Chabad for the delicious squash pie and all of the interesting things Devorah Leah puts in her salads! It's always an adventure.
If you have not yet gone on BIRTHRIGHT feel free to ask me about it.

Hey, I'm Tom and I'm a sophomore at the U of R. I like the usual things: music, books, hanging out with friends, movies, going to Chabad, etc. I'm not very good with managing time, and that becomes a problem because I like to get involved in many different activities such as jazz band, jobs, fraternity, men's choir, and intramural sports.
What I like most about Chabad is the atmosphere. I grew up in Israel, and being at the Chabad house on holidays and weekends just reminds me of it a lot. Also, I can guarantee that you won't find another group who is so welcoming, friendly, amazing in the kitchen, funny, and most importantly (for me at least), Israeli!
Rabbi Asher and Devorah Leah are probably the coolest couple I know, and everyone just loves going to the house to meet friends, hear Rabbi Asher's anecdotes, and above all be with a group of really good people. And if that's not the reason, then the great food most definitely is.
